Calling all SSM Health Care employees and physicians! You’ve seen some of the fun health care videos on YouTube. This is your chance to showcase what you’re most proud of at work in a fun and creative way. Plus, you will also have the chance to vote for your favorites!

Why is your (department / hospital / entity / service line / region) great? This is your chance to brag, strut your stuff, and tell your story! Have fun, be creative, and use as many people in your video as you like.

This is your opportunity to make a commercial about:

• Your Department
• Your Hospital
• Your Entity (other than hospitals)
• Your Service Line
• Your Region
 
The deadline for entries is September 15, 2010.

Here are the rules:

1. Video must be no more than a :30 or :60 commercial, including credits.
2. No patients or patient information should be used.
3. No profanity; no personal attacks; nothing can be harmed during the making of the video.
4. Contact information must be included with all entries (see below.)
5. Before you make your video, consult your supervisor for the appropriate time and place to make it. 
6. Submit a DVD or one of the following video file formats on a CD or a DVD-R:
*MPEG2 or MPEG4 (.mp2 or .mp4)
 Windows Media (.wmv)        
* Quicktime (.mov)
* AVI (.avi)

PLEASE NOTE: Please avoid using copyrighted songs or music. When you use copyrighted material, we have to limit the use of your video.

Mail entries to “Experience Exceptional: Make a Commercial! Video Contest", SSM Health Care, 477 North Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, Mo., 63141. Entries will not be returned. Beginning October 11, all videos will be posted on SSM's intranet site. Voting for the video finalists will begin at that time.

Winning videos will be announced and shown at Showcase for Sharing on November 11, and the winners will also receive a gift certificate.
