 St. Anthony is pleased to announce the opening of its new 80,000 square foot Medical Office Building (MOB), Saints Medical Plaza. Construction on this project began in December 2006. Several St. Anthony physicians have already opened offices in the building.  The St. Anthony Breast Center has also relocated to this building, and later this summer the Saints Medical Plaza will be home to Starbucks and Walgreens. 

The Saints Medical Plaza is conveniently accessible from the new Walker/Plaza Entrance on the east side of the hospital.  Plenty of surface-level parking is available for patients and visitors.

Saints Medical Plaza provides an option for physicians to lease space in the MOB, but they will also have an investment opportunity. St. Anthony partnered with Frauenshuh, a privately-held healthcare real estate development and management company, as the developer on this project Frauenshuh has over 20 years of medical experience, and currently manages and owns over three million square foot of properties containing acute care, ambulatory care and medical office buildings in 16 states.

Coming soon to the Saints Medical Plaza will be the St. Anthony Sleep Disorders Lab, as well as a new outpatient imaging center. Future plans call for the fourth floor to be occupied by St. Anthony's new conference and education center that will be used for hosting seminars and events for St. Anthony physicians and staff.

The MOB is a Class A facility and includes characteristics like:

  • Inviting atrium style entrance and lobby
  • First class materials, design, and construction in common areas
  • Wide corridors and suite entrances
  • High speed elevators with gurney capabilities
  • Smart building features that support technology and the environment
  • Acoustically sensitive design to maximize privacy
  • Excellent access and parking for visitors and staff

Also included in the design will be:

  • Assigned parking for all physician offices included as part of the lease (Based on lease space and will be limited.)
  • Custom designed office space
  • Enclosed ground level walkway from MOB to hospital
