|Chief Resident Stipend
R-1 through R-III Residents
208 hours annually inclusive of vacation, sick leave, CME and Holidays.
PGY-II and PGY-III Residents
31 days annually inclusive of vacation, sick leave, CME and Holidays.
Lunch is provided in the residency room M-F except for holidays. You will receive a $350 stipend towards meals while on call that will be taxed accordingly.
Continuing Medical Education
Family Medicine will receive $1,500 per academic year to attend educational programs and help pay for other things that pertain to CME. The $1,500 will be taxed accordingly.
Professional Liability Insurance
Residents are provided with Professional Liability Insurance coverage ($1 million/ $3 million) during the performance of their contractual duties.
Health, dental, and vision coverage must be purchased by the resident. We have several options to choose from. A form will be provided to inform you of all the options available.

Disability and life insurance are provided at no charge.

Up to $500 will be reimbursed for moves from outside the Oklahoma City metro area upon receipts.
Moonlighting is encouraged for R-2 and R-3 residents if the Program Director approves. In-house moonlighting opportunities are available.
Special rates for Saints employees. Family membership is $17.50 per pay period.
3 monogrammed lab coats will be provided at the beginning of the first year.
Cell Phone Stipend
$25 paid twice a month to cover the cost for cell phone plan as long as the resident has a (405) area code number. Up to $18.75 paid twice a month to help cover the data plan regardless of area code. A resident could get up to $87.50 per month to help off-set costs for their cell phone and cell phone plan. If the data plan is less than $37.50 a month, the lesser amount will be paid out in two pay periods per month.
