The St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency Program will be accepting applications for our nine PGY-1 positions via ERAS (the Electronic Residency Application Service). The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). The residency program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and has achieved Osteopathic Recognition. Osteopathic Recognition is a designation conferred by the ACGME’s Osteopathic Recognition Committee upon ACGME-accredited programs that demonstrate, through a formal application process, the commitment to teaching and assessing Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) at the graduate medical education level. St. Anthony accepts ERAS applications through November 1. The program begins interviewing in October and finishes at the beginning of January.

  • Submit a complete application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications must be submitted by November 1st. We participate in the National Residency Matching Program Applicants are expected to comply with the NRMP Match Code of Conduct for Applicants.

Paid Time Off

PGY1 through PGY3 Residents: 26 days annually inclusive of vacation, sick leave, CME and Holidays.

Meals

Hospital shall pay resident a lump sum of Two Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($2,000.00) per annum to cover the cost of meals while on service. All "lump sum" payments will be subject to federal, state and local taxes.

Educational Resource Fund

Family Medicine residents will receive up to $1,500 per academic year to attend educational programs and help pay for other learning resources of the residents choosing.

Professional Liability Insurance

Residents are provided with Professional Liability Insurance coverage ($1 million/ $3 million) during the performance of their contractual duties.

Health Insurance

Health, dental, and vision coverage are provided by SSM and included in the yearly stipend. There are several options of coverage to choose from. A form will be provided to inform you of all the options available on hiring.

Disability and life insurance are provided at no charge.

Up to $500 will be reimbursed for moves from outside the Oklahoma City area upon receipts. (This amount will be taxed accordingly.)

Moonlighting

Moonlighting is encouraged for PGY2 and PGY3 residents if the Program Director approves. In-house moonlighting opportunities are available.

Lab Coats

3 monogrammed lab coats will be provided at the beginning of the first year.
