At St. Anthony, we know that depression, anxiety and other behavioral issues don’t discriminate against age. We know that people of all ages, including children and teenagers, can experience a time in their life when they need help sorting through their problems. That is why we have developed a variety of programs tailored to meet the specific needs of your son or daughter.
We are one of the few behavioral medicine centers in the state that offer comprehensive, specialized treatment programs for children suffering from depression, post traumatic stress disorder, behavioral health problems, and other mental health issues. Our inpatient program enables your child to adapt to the warm surrounding of our children’s center which includes a classroom for daily school work, a movie theater, a computer and game room, a gymnasium and an outdoor playground. Children who need long-term care find help in our residential care center.
We understand that as your children reach their teenage years, they often face complex problems with drugs, alcohol, depression, or behavioral issues. They often begin to live a self-destructive life, and we can provide the help and hope they need to get better. We offer an array of programs that will meet the needs of your teen.
Our inpatient program with a chemical dependency component offers the most complete continuum of mental health services for teens in the state. We know this program may not be right for everyone, so if your teen is struggling with severe depression, behavioral problems or other mental health issues, they can find help in our secure, inpatient setting. Other teens that need less intensive but longer term therapy are candidates for our residential treatment program.
Our psychiatrists that specialize in the treatment of adolescents are available to monitor your child on an outpatient basis upon discharge from our programs.
