About Our Network
SSM Health Care of Oklahoma is a member of SSM Health Care headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The Oklahoma region includes St. Anthony Hospital, Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony and St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital. In addition to the St. Anthony main campus in Downtown Oklahoma City, the region also encompasses St. Anthony North and St. Anthony South. St. Anthony Physicians , a multi-specialty medical group, has locations geographically spread among the communities we serve.
Our region recently expanded in east and south Oklahoma City with the opening of St. Anthony Healthplex East and St. Anthony Healthplex South, in January 2012. These state-of-the-art campuses feature freestanding emergency rooms, ambulatory services and physician offices. A new facility, St. Anthony Healthplex Mustang, was recently announced and scheduled to open in 2014.
Growing and Thriving in Midtown Oklahoma City
Midtown Oklahoma City, home to the St. Anthony main campus, is growing and thriving with an atmosphere of energy and excitement resulting from almost ten years of development by local businesses, developers and neighbors and streetscape improvements by the city. The area is now home to diverse offerings of restaurants, a YMCA, and commercial and residential development.
St. Anthony has invested $220 million in campus expansion projects over a ten-year period that included numerous building projects and campus beautification efforts. Recently, we announced the construction of the Saints Pavilion featuring new intensive care units, emergency room and step down units to further our mission of providing the latest, state-of-the-art facilities to provide exceptional patient care to the community.
